Botox and Jeuveau

What it is

Neurotoxins are treatments that have been used medically since the 1970s. Safe and highly effective, neurotoxin treatments like Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® give the skin a smooth, renewed appearance that looks natural. These treatments require zero downtime and are quick to administer.

How it works

Neurotoxins target the underlying causes of wrinkles and frown lines by blocking the nerve signals that cause muscle movement. This allows wrinkles to soften and prevents new wrinkles from forming, leading to a more youthful appearance.

What to expect

The treatment is quick and can typically be completed with a few tiny injections in less than 30 minutes. Noticeable results are generally observed 5–7 days after treatment, with full results visible 14 days post-treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much treatment will I need?

The amount depends on the area(s) being treated (11s, forehead, crow’s feet), the strength of your facial muscles, and the depth of existing lines. A complimentary consultation will help create a personalized plan.

Does it hurt?

Most clients describe the sensation as a tiny pinch. The needle is quite small and the neurotoxin is injected quickly, resulting in minimal pain. Numbing agents are not typically used.

What is the downtime?

Virtually zero. Often called a “lunchtime procedure” — most patients return to work immediately. Some redness/swelling at injection sites usually subsides within a few hours. Minor bruising is rare.

How long do results last?

Results typically last around 3–6 months, depending on the treatment location, muscle activity, and your body’s response.

Are Botox and Dysport the same?

While Botox®, Dysport®, and Xeomin® are all neurotoxin injectables, their chemical compositions slightly differ. Our practitioners will explain the differences and help you choose the best product for your needs.

Are there any side effects?

Very common and low-risk. The most reported side effects include headaches, minor bruising, and swelling at the injection site, although these are rare.
